“Coming To BJP HQ Tomorrow With All Leaders, Can Put All In Jail”: Arvind Kejriwal After His PA's Arrest

'Coming To BJP Headquarters Tomorrow In Group,' Says Arvind Kejriwal After His PA's Arrest

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal today said that he, along with other AAP leaders, including MLAs and MPs, would reach the BJP headquarters in Delhi tomorrow to dare the saffron party to put them all in jail. The AAP supremo challenged the Prime Minister to put anyone he wanted in jail, adding that the leaders would reach the BJP officer at 12 pm.

Accusing the ruling party of coming after the AAP, the Chief Minister listed a series of the party leaders” arrests made by the BJP  government. He shared the video of him announcing the “Jail Bharo” event, on his social media platform X (formerly Twitter) and wrote, “Prime Minister, are you arresting us one by one? Arrest everyone together.”

The Chief Minister said that the government put the AAP MP Sanjay Singh in jail. “Today they arrested my PA. Raghav Chadha has returned from London; some are saying they will arrest Raghav Chadha too. Then there are Atishi and Saurabh Bharadwaj too,” the AAP leader said.

Asking what crime the AAP leader did to arrest them, the Chief Minister said, “our crimes were that we developed government schools, hospitals, and made electricity available 24/7. “They are not being able to do this. They can”t do this,” he said referring to the BJP. Kejriwal was in jail in the money laundering case since March 21, and now, he is out on an interim bail till June 1.

Delhi police on Saturday arrested Kejriwal”s PA Bibhav Kumar for allegedly assaulting AAP MP Swati Maliwal inside the Chief Minister”s house. However, the AAP has denied the allegations, saying that Swati Maliwal was the “face of the BJP conspiracy” against the Delhi Chief Minister. The AAP also released a video, showing Swati sitting comfortably in the Chief Minister”s residence, and noting that no physical assault happened.

Showing the video, the AAP Minister Atishi claimed that it was Swati Maliwal who abused Bibhav Kumar. Bibhav has also filed a complaint against the AAP Rajya Sabha MP.
