Unable To Join Movement, People From Afar Order Food, Essentials For Protesting Students In Delhi
New Delhi: Food delivery riders are flocking to the protest site at Jantar Mantar in Delhi as people from afar, who are unable to join the movement physically, order food and other essential items for the protesting students. Thousands of kilometers away from Delhi, people are ordering meals for the students.
Several videos show delivery riders dropping off food at the protest site. In one video, a man from Kerala was seen ordering food through Swiggy for the protesters as he could not join them. The person is heard saying he could not be there, but wanted to at least do something to support the students at the protest site.

Swiggy and Zomato riders are reaching Jantar Mantar with orders placed by people across India and abroad. The response has been so overwhelming that CJP, through its official X handle, had to urge people to temporarily pause food deliveries.
Meals are pouring in from cities across the country to Jantar Mantar.
