Meta Allegedly Suspends WhatsApp Groups Linked To CJP Protest Movement

New Delhi: After Meta allegedly banned the account of Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) spokesperson Saurav Das, the platform has reportedly begun suspending WhatsApp groups linked to the Gen-Z protest led by CJP against exam irregularities at Jantar Mantar in Delhi.

Several screenshots shared online show WhatsApp communities titled ‘Students Movement’ being suspended. The message states that the group is under review, and the suspension will remain in place until the review is completed.
