Ghaziabad: Mother Tortures Daughter To Hide Sexual Assault By Her Male Friend

In a shocking incident reported from Uttar Pradesh’s Ghaziabad, a mother would torture her 10-year-old daughter to keep quiet about repeated sexual assault she suffered from the hands of her mother’s male friend. The girl’s mother also wanted to force her minor daughter into prostitution, NDTV reports. The mother has allegedly sexually abused the girl’s 13-year-old brother as well.

As the girl is unable to endure the harassment anymore she left her home on January 20. She was found wandering in the streets and was handed over to the Delhi Police. Police, in turn, gave her to the responsibility of the Child Welfare Committee. The medical examination revealed that the girl has been raped.

The victim told the Police officials that her father had died four years ago and both she and her brother were living with her maternal grandparents since then.

Last year, children were taken by her mother to the Ghaziabad home. There, she was subjected to repeated sexual assaults by her mother’s friend, and he had also sexually abused her brother. Her brother left home earlier due to the abuse.

The girl then added that she came across her mother being involved in prostitution after her father’s death and wanted her to be involved in the trade once she got older.

Meanwhile, the victim’s mother and her male friend have been arrested by the Delhi police. The police, then added that her mother had not filed a missing complaint even though her daughter has been missing since January 20.
