In a recent viral video shared on X (formerly Twitter) by the the Alt News co-founder and journalist Muhammed Zubair, the Ghaziabad police in Uttar Pradesh is seen helpless in front of Yati Narasinghanand. Yati Narasinghanand, often identified as a hatemonger, was accusing the police officials for receiving money and alcohol from people belonging to Muslim community of that area.
The Hindutva leader was also saying controversial words against the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. CM is no bigger than the Hindu god Ravana, he said.
It is being told that the police has placed Mr Narasimhanand of the Dasna Devi Temple under house arrest. He came out to meet the Chief Minister with a complaint letter written with his own blood. When he tried to travel on foot from Ghaziabad to Lucknow to hand over the letter to CM, the police stopped him citing security reasons.
Being upset of the decision took by the police, he eventually started to make serious allegations against them. In the video which went viral, Yeti Narasimhanand is heard accusing the police for receiving money and alcohol from people belonging to Muslim community of that area.
“Liquor and money reaches to all the policemen here from Muslims… and all the wishes of the police are fulfilled by them”, he accused adding that “I will give all these details to CM Yogi”.
He was also seen angry at Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with CM Yogi saying that, “Our own man is sitting there and you [police] is crushing us. Why are they [Chief Minister and Prime Minister] are listening to you and not me (sic)”.

He also said that Mr Yogi is not greater than Ravana. Ghaziabad police later by evening allowed the disciples to go to Lucknow. “He was not placed under house arrest, but was stopped for security reasons”, said DCP Vivek Yadav to local media.
It was recently on July 2023, the Supreme Court of India issued a contempt notice against Mr Narsinghanand following an interview in which he allegedly made disparaging remarks about the top court and the Indian Constitution.
