Hyderabad Businessman Loses Rs 14 Lakh To Fraudsters Who Promised Rs 20 Crore Loan
Telangana, Hyderabad: A businessman from Hyderabad lost Rs Rs 14 lakh to fraudsters who promised to arrange a Rs 20 crore business loan. Two accused men came in contact with the victim, claiming to be the head of a finance company.
The accused men, identified as Shivaji Puri Goswami and Satvik Chandrashekar, a native of Tamil Nadu, reportedly assured the businessman that they will arrange Rs 20 crore loan against a 2% processing fee, The New Indian Express reported.

Goswami introduced the victim to Chandrashekar and asked him to make the processing payments to the latter. After paying Rs 4 lakh, Goswami allegedly made further demand of Rs 10 lakh, claiming that the remaining formalities would be completed.
Believing them, the businessman transferred the amount to the bank account of Ramesh. However, the loan was never sanctioned, prompting the victim to file police complaint against the accused.
