Lucknow: Husband Shoots Wife Dead In Broad Daylight, Says 'She Cheated On Me' In WhatsApp Status
Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh: Divya Mishra, a relationship manager at the Vivek Khand branch in Gomti Nagar, was fatally shot by her husband Manas Bajpai on Thursday, August 20, in front of the bank. The incident happened in front of the ICICI Bank in Vivek Khand, within the Gomti Nagar police station area.
The accused man, Bajpai also killed his sister before ending his life, leaving three weapons at his home and a WhatsApp status detailing the events. The man’s WhatsApp status reads, “I killed my wife as she cheated on me. Now I have to kill myself and my sister. Her sister Prayagya and Bharat now everything.”

The couple allegedly faced ongoing marital issues, including a divorce filing by Mishra the previous year. Police are investigating the full sequence in this shocking escalation of a family court dispute. Divya was the younger sister of journalist Pragya Mishra.
