Meerut: Meta Alerts Police Of Instagram Post, UP Police Prevent Young Man's Suicide
Meerut, Uttar Pradesh: Uttar Pradesh saved a 25-year-old man’s life eight minutes after Meta alerted the police of an Instagram post regarding the man’s suicide. After the Meta flagged potential self-harm content on social media, it shared alerts with authorities.
Acting on instructions from the Director General of Police, the Meerut police immediately reached the location based on the details shared by the authorities.

The Meerut man, who was living in Sardhana area posted a video on Instagram on June 7 showing him appearing to consume a white-coloured liquid. The post carried the message: “Ab tum khush rehna apni life mein (Now you stay happy in your life).”
