A passenger on an IndiGo airplane physically assaulted the pilot while he was addressing the travelers about the flight delay. An unexpected physical assault occurred when passenger wearing a yellow hoodie came running from the last row of the flight and punched the captain.
Notably, the new pilot has replaced the earlier crew due to Flight Duty Time Limitations (FDTL). FDTL aimed to protect the safety and security of the aviation crew members by administering appropriate rest periods to avert fatigue- safety issues.

The unfortunate incident emerged amid dense fog is engulfing Delhi and surrounding areas for some days. The prevalence of foggy conditions affected the road, rail and flight operations. The dipped in visibility led the delay in flights, flights getting diverted, and even cancellation.
Meanwhile, the video of the passenger attacking the pilot went viral on social media. Netizens condemned the assault stating that the pilot and the cabin crew are undertaking their duty and they have no control over the delay.
One user named @IshwarBagga wrote on X: “What does the pilot or cabin crew have to do with the delay? They were just doing their job. Arrest this man, and put him on the no-fly list. Publish his picture so people are aware of his bad temper in public.”
Another user called @doc_sacharr wrote, “This person should be booked for assault as well as put on a No Fly List. While IndiGo is in the news for all the wrong reasons and must be taken to task for its shortcomings, but this is totally unacceptable passenger behaviour.”
“That’s insane,, People like this should be banned from flying or should be blacklisted.. Crew aren’t safe atall, imagine how dangerous such ppl could be on board or in cruise…,” a user, @yadavshikkha tweeted.
