PM Modi Performs Prayers at Parvati Kund in Uttarakhand's Pithoragarh

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is visiting Uttarakhand, where he has been holding public meetings and laying foundation stones for several development projects. During his visit, he also made time for spiritual activities by visiting Parvati Kund in Pithoragarh, where he offered prayers at the temple. Taking to Twitter, the Prime Minister shared images and videos of himself performing puja and meditation. In the images, Modi can be seen sitting facing Adi Kailash peak, believed to be an abode of Lord Shiva.

“I am overwhelmed with the darshan and worship at the holy Parvati Kund of Pithoragarh in Uttarakhand. The mind is also happy with the darshan of Adi Kailash from here. From this place of spirituality and culture nestled in the lap of nature, he wished a happy life for all the family members of his country,” Modi wrote in the post, along with photos of him amidst the picturesque, foggy mountain face.

During his day-long visit to the Kumaon region of Uttarakhand, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also visited the border village of Gunji, where he interacted with locals and security personnel. He attended an exhibition of local products and artifacts, accompanied by Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami.

PM Modi is scheduled to inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of development projects worth Rs 4,200 crore in Pithoragarh and will address a public meeting during his visit to the Kumaon region.
