PM Modi Urges Amitabh Bachchan to Visit Statue of Unity and Kutch

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has urged actor Amitabh Bachchan to visit the Statue of Unity and Kutch in Gujarat.

In a bid to woo senior Bachchan”s attention towards the Statue of Unity, PM Modi shared Mr Bachchan”s post on his Twitter handle, wittily mentioning that Mr Bachchan”s visit to the statue is still due.

It all began when Mr Bachchan tweeted a picture of Modi offering prayers at Parvati Kund facing the Adi Kailash peak. Expressing his grief at not being able to make it there yet, Mr Bachchan wrote on his Twitter handle, “The religiosity, the mystery, the divinity of Kailash Parbat has been intriguing me for long. And the tragedy is that I shall never be able to visit it in person.”

Taking Mr Bachchan”s post to his Twitter handle, PM Modi said his visit to Parvati Kund and Jageshwar Temples was truly mesmerizing. He also urged Bachchan to visit Kutch, where the Rann Utsav is taking place, and reminded him that his visit to the Statue of Unity is still due.

The Statue of Unity is the world”s tallest statue, with a height of 182 meters (597 feet). It was built by the Narendra Modi government near Kevadia in Gujarat and depicts India”s first deputy prime minister and home minister, Vallabhbhai Patel. Modi considers the statue to be the insignia of his government”s organizational skills and often mentions its importance in public.

Earlier, PM Modi had shared images of his spiritual activities at Parvati Kund in Pithoragarh, where he offered prayers at the temple. Taking to Twitter, the Prime Minister shared images and videos of himself performing puja and meditation. In the images, Modi can be seen sitting facing the Adi Kailash peak, which is believed to be an abode of Lord Shiva.

After seeing this, Mr Bachchan also shared it on his Twitter handle, confessing that he couldn”t make it there yet.
