Video: Pet Dog On Walk Dies After Crushed By Car, FIR Registered

A heart-wrenching video of a pet dog getting crushed by a car surfaced on social media recently. In a CCTV footage from Uttar Pradesh’s Ghaziabad, a dog was seen rammed by a black SUV while being taken to walk by the owner. The dog, a pug, died on the spot suffering from injuries. The incident, reportedly happened at 7 am in the morning on November 11.

The incident occurred in Shiv Shakti Gali of Niti Khand 1 of Indirapuram. The owner, a youth, was walking the dog inside the society area while the black car approached opposite from outside, crossed the barricade, and directly rammed over the pet. The dog was stumbled and left beneath the vehicle as the driver put a break. The owner pulled the dog out to the pavement but died soon after suffering the injuries.

As stated by various reports, a complaint had been registered with the Indirapuram police and are investigating the matter. The man who drove the vehicle was identified as Arpit Gupta and was said charged under the sections of Indian Penal Code (IPC) 279, 429. There are no reports of any arrest regarding the matter till the time.

In the CCTV footage surfaced, the owner of the pug is also seen careless as he was on the phone and left the dog unattended while being on walk. The dog was chained and following him through the road. The car came from the front direction after which the owner went to the side of the lane and the dog accidentally came under the front tire of the car.
