189 Tonnes Of Illegal Beef Seized From Warehouse Linked To TDP Leader
Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh: Officials recently seized a total of 189 tonnes of prohibited beef from a warehouse near Visakhapatnam. The warehouse was reportedly owned by TDP leader Subrahmanya Gupta’s aide, claims YSR Congress Party in a social media post shared on Wednesday, November 12.
The seizure has exposed a large-scale illegal export racket, with forensic tests confirming the meat as beef being exported to Gulf countries under the guise of buffalo meat, the post on X stated.
The opposition further alleged that the ruling Chandrababu Naidu government revived the Tirumala laddu “adulterated ghee” controversy to divert public attention from the 189-tonne beef seizure.
Despite the gravity of the case, the YSR Congress pointed out, no senior TDP leader or minister has made a statement, while Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan’s silence has drawn sharp criticism.
