
Kerala PSC KAS Application Starts From March 7
The Kerala Public Service Commission (PSC) is set to start the Kerala Administrative Service (KAS) application process on March 7. Reportedly, the official notice will be published in the Gazette on March 7, and candidates can apply till April 9, 2025.
The preliminary examination will be held on June 14, 2025. Those who qualify the preliminary exam will become eligible to set for the main examination to be held on October 17 and 18, 2025. The final rank list is expected to be released on February 16, 2026.

The Kerala PSC KAS Prelims exam consists of two papers. Each paper carries 100 multiple choice questions of a total of 100 marks. The time duration for each paper is 90 minutes. Paper 1 carries General Studies questions, and paper 2 contains general studies, language-based questions, and English language questions.
The General Studies Paper 2 of the KAS prelims exam is qualifying in nature with minimum qualifying marks fixed at 33%.
Also, the KAS Mains examination consists of 3 papers, each 100 marks with a grand total of 300 marks. The main examinations are descriptive in nature and questions will be asked in both English and Malayalam language.
The final stage is the interview which carries 50 marks. The final list is prepared on the basis of marks obtained in Mains exam and interview.

The KPSC releases the notification which includes key information regarding the exam including educational qualification, age, application fee, syllabus, exam pattern, qualifying marks and other details. The detailed notification will be available at the KPSC official website – keralapsc.gov.in on March 7.
