The Meghalaya Police Recruitment Board has canceled the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) held on November 18 for various posts. Candidates who participated in the PET can check the official website – megpolice.gov.in to check the official notice. The notice said the PET conducted on November 18 has been canceled due to technical issues at the 1st MLP Battalion, Mawiong, and the 4th MLP Battalion, Sohpian.
According to the notice, “Fresh PET will be conducted for all the candidates, including for those candidates who appeared in the PET conducted w.e.f. 18th November – 21st December 2024, at 1st MLP Bn., Mawiong and 4th MLP Bn., Sohpian.”
Candidates appearing for PET at 3 rd MLP Bn., Sahbsein, Jowai, can download their admit cards from the Meghalaya Police website available from December 6, 2024. Admit Cards for candidates appearing in other PET Centers will be available for downloading from 16th December 2024.

Candidates appearing for the Physical Efficiency Test must review their details before downloading admit cards. An online option to edit the information will be given before generating the admit cards. Candidates who want to change their PET date should apply to the Member Secretary, Central Recruitment Board before the test begins.
The PET examination is of 100 marks and the candidates who clear this exam will proceed to the written exam stage. This recruitment campaign aims to fill 2,968 vacancies for posts including Sub-Inspector, Constable, and others. The registration process commenced on April 1, 2024, and ended on April 30, 2024.
Revised dates for PET
