Rajasthan Education Department will recruit 10,000 teachers by March under its 100-day program, informed a state official.
The 100-day action plan of the department had divided tasks with completion targets of 30 days, 60 days, and 90 days. The state education department had targeted to recruit one lakh vacancies in the department under its 100-day action. The plan mentions that all vacant posts in the education department must be filled within one year, with over 12,000 recruitments that are already under process to be completed within 90 days.

According to the official statement, the department has already processed the recruitment procedure for 10,000 teachers as per the target set under the 100-day plan. The first phase of the appointment will be completed before the next academic session starts the next month, informed the education department official. Teacher’s associations in the state said the current appointment proceeding is to process the already existing vacancies that have not been fulfilled due to the assembly elections held in November last year.
Under the ambitious 100-day action plan for the Education Department in Rajasthan, the government showed its commitment to education as a priority. The initiative will see the recruitment to 402 PM Shri Schools across Rajasthan, workshops to raise awareness among girls, and the recruitment process for the year 2024, covering numerous teaching posts.
Under the plan, the department has also planned to distribute bicycles to girls from PM SHRI schools. A 30-day action plan covers the transparent transfer policy of teachers. Under the 60-day targets were set to start the online admission process for Mahatma Gandhi English Medium Schools in the state. Under the 100-day target, teachers’ promotion was also envisioned.
