Geographically, Delhi (20%), Mumbai (7%), and Bengaluru (6%) have witnessed substantial growth in job postings, while job seekers have shown increased interest in these cities, with Delhi (19%), Mumbai (9%), and Bengaluru (5.29%) experiencing notable increments. It is noted that the industry”s remarkable comeback from the pandemic, has seen a surge in job postings and positive indicators for the future. He highlighted the significant uptick in Indian outbound travel, emphasising the role of Gen Z and millennial travel influencers in boosting tourism. As travellers seek budget-friendly experiences, the demand for travel consultants capable of curating safe, time-intensive, and cost-effective travel has increased.
Additionally, data from the Bureau of Immigration indicates that foreign tourist arrivals (FTAs) in India from January to April 2023 have reached 79% of the FTAs during the same period in 2019.
