Maharashtra school education department released an official schedule for the teachers’ recruitment process. The advertisement and announcement regarding teachers’ vacancies will be available till January 29 and can be accessed through Pavitra Portal.

The education department shared information through a circular that advertisement instructions are available on the portal to fill up the vacant teachers’ posts in local self-government bodies and private educational institutions. The divisional deputy director of education and education officers of primary and secondary schools are directed to complete the pending advertisement on the Pavitra Portal in their respective area of jurisdiction.

The concerned education management will take action to publish advertisement in newspapers as per the provisions of the government orders dated February 7, 2019. Candidates eligible will be given priority for the respective employment opportunities. The instruction in this regard will be published separately.

Following the insturctions, to fill the positions of Shikshak (Teacher), Shree Ghatai Devi Education Institute, Sayli, T. Satara, and Vikram Education Society, Satara, have announced a fresh recruitment. Interested candidates should use this website, mahateacherrecruitment.org.in, to submit their applications offline. In the January 2024 advertisement, Shree Ghatai Devi Education Institute, Sayli, T. Satara, and Vikram Education Society, Satara, both declared a total of 02 vacant posts.

Prior to this, local self-government organizations and private educational institutions had until January 15 to register subject-specific openings on the portal. This deadline was then extended to January 22 in order to accommodate the maximum number of openings in the advertising. After this deadline, candidates still have until January 24 to finish the registration process.
