'Kerala's Infant Mortality Rate At 5 Per 1,000': MP Brittas Compares With UP's 37 And National Average Of 25
Rajya Sabha MP from Kerala John Brittas has shared statistics showing Kerala’s infant mortality rate at 5 per 1,000 live births, suggesting that it is lower than the United States’ 5.5, and is below Uttar Pradesh’s 37 and India’s national average of 25.
In an interview, the CPI(M) MP asked, “What gems of wisdom should Kerala borrow from UP’s playbook, which is hailed as India’s ‘top double engine performer’ by the BJP?”

The MP further stated, “What life lessons can Malayalis grab from Modi’s “model” Gujarat? And what profound insights await us from the BJP’s grand vision?” adding that is it that Hindus are not talking to Muslims and Muslims are not talking to Hindus?
“What should we learn from the politics of hate and hatred? Why should Malayalis fall for the so-called BJP’s vision? We do not want that,” the left politician said.
Out of every 1,000 births, Kerala loses just 5 kids—better than the USA’s 5.5.
But in Uttar Pradesh, hailed as India’s “top double engine performer,” it’s a shocking 37.
The national average? A dismal 25.So, tell me ..
