
Mass Murder In Thiruvananthapuram: 23-Year-Old Arrested For Killing 6 People
Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala: A 23-year-old man named Afan has been accused of slaughtering five members of his family, including his mother, sister, and brother, in three separate locations in Venjaramoodu, Thiruvananthapuram on Monday.
The victims include Afan’s mother, his sister’s friend named Salma Beevi, his brother, Shahida, a relative and another unidentified relative.
Afan’s mother, who was hacked has been admitted to the Thiruvananthapuram Medical College Hospital in a critical condition.
According to police, Afan surrendered at the Venjaramoodu police station after the incident. He reportedly told police that he had killed six people.
Afan’s statement to the police has revealed that he had brought his sister’s friend, Salma Beevi, home a few days ago.
Police have taken Afan into custody and are investigating the incident. Further details are awaited.
