Ernakulum, Kerala: The Global Public School in Kochi, Kerala, has once again denied the brutal ragging allegations leveled against some of the students by the mother of 15-year-old Mihir Muhammed, who died by alleged suicide on January 15 after falling from the 26th floor of his residential building.

The school, since the allegations were raised, maintained that any such ragging or bullying had not occurred on the campus, which was against the evidence the victim’s mother, Rejina, released, including the screenshots of the conversations and chats by the schoolmates.

The school management has reiterated that they have no evidence or statements from Mihir’s classmates, friends, and the teachers that suggest that the boy went through bullying. A letter written by the school management addressed the boy’s mother, stated that they could not find any supporting evidence into her allegations during their investigation.

In her complaint against the accused, Mihir’s mother had named a few students at the Trippunithura Hill Palace police station while sharing some digital evidences, which suggest alleged ragging and bullying the victim met with. A screenshot from the students’ conversation had revealed that Mihir was forced to lick the toilet and was made to put his head down while it was flushing. However, the classmates or teachers have not admitted any such mistreatment, as per the claim made by the school.
