Suresh Gopi Finally Breaks Months-Long Silence, Says THIS

After months of avoiding direct responses on the voters’ list controversy and the alleged nuns’ issue, Union Minister and Thrissur MP Suresh Gopi has finally broken his silence, but only with a single line.

When confronted by reporters on Wednesday about the allegations, Suresh Gopi responded with a sarcastic, Thanks for helping so much, before walking away.

The brief remark came after weeks of mounting political tension over accusations that the 2024 Lok Sabha voters’ list in Thrissur was manipulated to benefit the BJP.

Earlier in the day, BJP Kerala president Rajeev Chandrasekhar lashed out at the CPI(M) and Congress, accusing them of “making a fool of the public” by raising voter fraud allegations more than a year after Gopi’s victory by over 70,000 votes.

He challenged the Opposition to approach the Election Commission of India or the courts if they were serious about their claims, dismissing the row as a diversion from their own problems.

On Tuesday, former Thrissur MP T.N. Prathapan lodged a police complaint accusing Gopi of illegally transferring his vote from Thiruvananthapuram to Thrissur ahead of the elections. In a separate claim, a resident alleged that nine fake voters were registered under her address without her consent.

Meanwhile, the Kerala Students Union (KSU) has filed a fresh complaint, arguing that Suresh Gopi’s persistent silence amounts to withholding key clarifications from the public.

Thrissur remains the only seat in Kerala won by the BJP in the 2024 general elections, making the controversy politically charged as both sides dig in for a prolonged battle.
