U.B. Developers announced projects to accelerate the rehabilitation efforts following the Mundakai and Churalmala disaster in Kerala’s Wayanad. The firm will ensure viable employment based on qualifications for livelihood crisis and job loss, said Managing Director Ubais Siddique. The announcement, aimed at providing better vocational rehabilitation for disaster-affected youth, was made on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at Oshin Hotel, Kalpatta.
Siddique said that project will ensure jobs to many indirectly, among which, over 100 people are promised direct recruitments. Employment will be provided according to skill and qualification. The firm made the promise while announcing the International Tourism Township project, which will be started in Padinjarethara (Wayanad) with an investment of 150 crores. The managing director expressed his hope in restoring the business sector that was plunged in crisis. He said that the difficulties are temporary and tourism in Wayanad will snap back to its former glory.

He also added that cooperation of government, voluntary organizations and political and social groups will be ensured to provide employment to deserving people.
