Arvind Kejriwal Met With North Eastern Party Leaders

Chief minister of Delhi and Aam Aadmi Party’s National Convener, Arvind Kejriwal, met with the party leaders of Assam, Tripura, Nagaland and Arunachal Pradesh to discuss about the party’s strategies about the coming Lok Sabha election of 2024. Mr. Kejriwal said the meeting held talks about the “prospects and preparedness of AAP sangthan” in the states mentioned.

 

 

Aam Admi Party’s National Council Member, Rajesh Sharma, who is in charge of the party in North Eastern states, said the leaders had a “detailed discussion” regarding the “party organization “ and about the Lok Sabha/Vidhan Sabha elections in the North Eastern states of India.

Taking X (formerly twitter), Mr. Sharma shared about the leaders who were present at the meeting. Arunachal Pradesh State President, Yamra Taya, Assam’s Bhaben Chaudhury, Mizoram’s Andrew Lalremkima Pachuau, Nagalamnd’s Asu Keyho and Tripura’s Abujam Umapada Luwang, who is Co-In charge of Tripura were the leaders who gathered to deliberate about the potential and the probability of progress in the party’s performance in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections in the North Eastern states.

 

Earlier the party has announced the third list of its candidates for the Assembly Election of Chhattisgarh.  Though both Aam Admi Party and Congress Party are part of Indian National Development Inclusive Alliance or the INDI Alliance, their stance on the upcoming Chhattisgarh election is not clarified.

Election Commission declared that first phase of Chhattisgarh election to be held on November 7. The polling will be for 20 seats. Polling for the remaining 70 seats will be held on November 17. Mizoram will go for polls on November 7.  Madhya Pradesh will also go for polls on November 17. Rajasthan and Telangana will go for polls on 23 and 30th of November respectively. The elections in these states is considered extremely important as the 2024 Lok Sabha election is nearing and is scheduled to be on April-May in 2024.
