The atmosphere in Mumbai is filled with anticipation as the Election Commission prepares to declare the result of the 2024 Lok Sabha election. Mumbai known as the financial capital of India consists of 6 key Lok Sabha constituencies: Mumbai South, Mumbai South Central, Mumbai North Central, Mumbai North East, Mumbai North West, and Mumbai North. The high-profile candidates, including the sitting MPs and popular newcomers, have made the contest riveting.

As per the early trend (12:00 pm) , Union Minister Piyush Goyal is currently leading from the Mumbai North constituency. He is leading with over 3.6 lakh votes.

The region has witnessed a high-profile contest mainly between the Bharatiya Janata Party and INDIA blocs.

Mumbai South too is with the Shiv Sena (UBT) wave as Arvind Ganpat Sawant is leading from the constituency.

From Mumbai’s North West, Shiv Sena’s Ravindra Waiker has taken early leads from the constituency with 941,192 votes, as per the report.
The early trend shows a clear division of votes in the Mumbai region as three of the constituencies when opted for the NDA alliance, the remaining three have stood with the INDIA bloc.
