Since Apple announced iOS 18 at the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2024 last month people have been waiting for the detailed specifications of the major updates to the iPhone operating system. It has now identified two new updates on the weather app.

In a report, it was said that the app may provide fine-tuned trivial ‘Feels Like’ temperature designs. It will be shown in a different temperature placed at the top of the app’s interface. The different font styles and sizes would allow users to identify the weather key easily.

This feature measures how hot, warm or cold the weather actually feels like, in contrast to the climate’s temperature recorded by weather stations. Some may feel relatively hotter and more humid than the real temperature, for instance; the app would provide details of humidity, wind speed and air speed of how a person perceives the temperature to be or how it feels allowing the users to see both values simultaneously.

The report stated that this new feature will be found when there is a major difference between the real value and the “Feels Like” temperature. There is another feature that would reportedly enable both the home and work location’s weather. The user can check the temperature differences in two places at the same time.
