The scheme will allow the candidates selected to live and work in the UK for up to two years. The candidates must be selected in the India Young Professionals Scheme ballot before applying for the visa. If a candidate is successful in the ballot, he or she will receive an invitation to apply for the visa.

The documents the applicants need to prepare are a valid passport or other document that shows identity and nationality and evidence showcasing £2,530 in the bank account. Moreover, the tuberculosis (TB) test, a police report or clearance certificate from India, and a bachelor’s degree level or above certificate will also need to be provided.

Once the candidates apply, prove their identity, and provide documents, they will get a decision on their visa within 3 weeks. With the visa, the selected persons can study—for some courses, you’ll need an Academic Technology Approval Scheme certificate, work in most jobs, be self-employed, and set up a company.

However, the selected individuals cannot extend their stay, nor apply for most public benefits. They will also not be able to include family members on the application.
