Civic Volunteer Ali Nawaz Carries Injured Man To Hospital, Saves Life

In an inspiring act of bravery and selflessness, a civic volunteer, Ali Nawaz, saved the life of a severely injured man following a road accident. The incident took place yesterday while Nawaz was on his way home after work when he noticed a man lying on the road, bleeding profusely from his injuries.

Without a moment’s hesitation, Nawaz sprang into action. Understanding the gravity of the situation, he lifted the injured man onto his shoulder and ran approximately 500 metres to the nearest hospital. Thanks to his quick thinking and swift response, the man’s life was saved.

The Kolkata Police praised Nawaz’s heroic efforts, referring to him as “The Good Samaritan” in an official statement.

“The Good Samaritan! Yesterday while returning home from work, civic volunteer Ali Nawaz saw a person lying on the road bleeding profusely, after an accident. Without wasting time he carried him on his shoulder & ran about 500m to reach the nearest hospital & saved his life,” Kolkata Police wrote on X.
