Hyderabad-based startup Harvested Robotics has appointed a golden retriever named Denver Pawlson as its Chief Happiness Officer (CHO).

This heartwarming move, announced by co-founder Rahul Arepaka has quickly gone viral, capturing the hearts of netizens worldwide.

Denver’s role is simple yet profound: he doesn’t code, he doesn’t strategise, but he brings joy, comfort, and a sense of calm to the workplace a role he fulfills with impeccable charm.

Taking to the LinkedIn account Rahul Arepaka wrote:

“Meet our newest hire, Denver – Chief Happiness Officer. He doesn’t code. He doesn’t care. He just shows up, steals hearts, and keeps the energy up.”

“Also, we’re officially pet-friendly now. Best decision. BTW: He’s got the best perks in the company,” he added.

Denver’s appointment has sparked a flurry of reactions online. While many have expressed their admiration for the initiative, some have humorously commented on Denver’s apparent exhaustion, with one user quipping that “he looks stressed.”

Harvested Robotics’ decision to welcome Denver into the office is said to be a part of a broader trend of companies embracing pet-friendly policies.
