Akshata Murty is married to Rishi Sunak, the Prime Minister of the UK and leader of the Conservative Party.

Meanwhile, on February 10, Akshata Murty along with Narayana Murthy and mother and philanthropist Sudha Murty attended the launch of Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni”s book, An Uncommon Love: The Early Life of Sudha and Narayana Murthy. The event was held at St Joseph”s College of Commerce in Bengaluru. During the launch, Narayana Murthy talked about his first meeting with his wife Sudha in the early 1970s. The event was also attended by their son Rohan Murty and Akshata Murty”s daughters, Anoushka and Krishna.

In September last year, Rishi Sunak and Akshata Murty had visited India in connection with the G20 Summit.
