Former England captain Kevin Pietersen was captivated by the new Lucknow airport and praised it for the world-class facilities, acknowledging the effort put in by Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath.
In a post on X, Pietersen praised the colorful adornments on the wall and wrote, “The Street of Flowers here at the brand new airport terminal in Lucknow. WORLD CLASS! Wow, what an incredible job done by all for this most beautiful state. I’m sure @myogiadityanath must be super proud! India is BOOMING! 🙏🏽”.

Pietersen was in the Uttar Pradesh state capital as a part of the official expert panel for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 clash between Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) on Saturday. Soon after his comments on the new Lucknow airport, the comment section was flooded with one of the users sharing a video of the new terminal.
