Team India will look to take an unassailable lead in the five-Test series against England at the JSCA International Stadium Complex, Ranchi. After losing the first Test by 28 runs, India bounced back to win two matches on the trot to take a 2-1 lead. Team India will hand over a debut to Akash Deep in place of Jasprit Bumrah who has been rested to manage his workload.

Meanwhile, England have recalled Shoaib Bashir and Ollie Robinson. Robinson will play his first Test since suffering back spasms in the first innings of the third Ashes Test in July, replacing Mark Wood. He will join forces with England veteran James Anderson who managed to scalp only one wicket in Rajkot Test.

The JSCA International Stadium Complex in Ranchi is relatively a big stadium and spinners tend to play a major role here. It is likely to be a bat first wicket with the turn likely to be slow and low. However, it won”t be a rank turner with spinners likely to take advantage of the dry pitch with cracks on it.
