United States medium pacer Saurabh Netravalkar continued his fine performance as he dismissed Team India openers Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma in quick succession in the T20 World Cup 2024 match at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium, New York on Wednesday.
Kohli was Netravalkar’s first victim as he was dismissed for a golden duck in the second delivery of the first over. The left-arm medium-pacer angled the delivery across to Kohli as he chased it to find an outside edge which ended in the gloves off Andries Gous.
Meanwhile, the Team India captain was dismissed on the second delivery of the third over, when he lobbed a fuller delivery after mistiming it straight into the arms of Harmeet Singh.
Following the dismissals, Netravalkar became the talk of the town as netizens reacted to the dismissals.
