Shoaib Malik and Sana Javed were rumoured to be dating. The rumour flared further when the cricketer shared pictures with Sana Javed on her birthday last year wishing her “Hapy Birthday Buddy”.

Shoaib Malik and Sania Mirza had been living separately for a year now. The couple decided to raise their five-year-old son Izhaan Mirza Malik together. The pair got married in 2010in Hyderabad in a traditional Muslim ceremony, and later a Walima ceremony in Pakistan’s Sialkot. The pair’s marriage caught the attention of both the countries, as it was a cross-border marriage, even though the two countries were on a confrontation mode.

Amidst the ongoing divorce rumour, Malik made a significant change in his Instagram bio from “Husband to a superwoman Sania Mirza” to “Father to One True Blessing”.

Reportedly, this is Shoaib Malik’s third marriage. Before getting married to Sania Mirza, he was allegedly married to Ayesha Siddiqui. However the cricketer denied the allegation and said that the whole incident was nothing less than an incident of fraud. Ayesha Siddiqui and her family raised the allegations on national television.

According to media report, Aysha and Shoaib got in touch over telephone in 2000, where Aysha introduced herself as Malik’s fan. Shoaib Malik confessed that they started developing feelings after the two started to talk a lot. But every time he tried to meet Ayesha, she refused to make herself available, said Shoaib. He said once in 2002, he came to Hyderabad to meet her but she told that she had to fly for Saudi Arabia urgently. Three years later, a day before Malik’s family was supposed to meet her family, they were told that Ayesha had to leave for USA.

Ayesha wanted a telephonic ‘Nikah’, but the cricketer wanted a full-fledged ceremony in the presence of friends and families. It turned out that, the girls he was talking through the phone and the photograph Shoaib received in the name of Ayesha were two different individuals. The Pakistani cricketer went on to sent a legal notice to the father M A Siddiqui. Ayesh hit back with stronger allegations against the cricketer by saying that the two of them had an “intimate relationship”. She also claimed that she was pregnant at one point f the “marriage”, but was ended in miscarriage.
