The opening ceremony featured drag queens and transgender individuals in a parody of Leonardo da Vinci’s ‘The Last Supper’, sparking outrage across the globe.

Mississippi-based telecommunications and technology company, C Spire posted on X that it has pulled all the ads over the ceremony’s mockery of the painting created to show a biblical moment crucial to the Christian faith.

“We were shocked by the mockery of the Last Supper during the opening ceremonies of the Paris Olympics,” the company posted. “C Spire will be pulling our advertising from the Olympics.”

The portrayal of religious and historical figures has drawn condemnation from religious leaders and politicians worldwide, labeling it an “anti-Christian” display.

Company President and CEO Suzy Hays said in a statement “C Spire is supportive of our athletes who have worked so hard to be a part of the Olympics. However, we will not be a part of the offensive and unacceptable mockery of the Last Supper, which is why we’re pulling our advertising from the Olympics.”

Marion Maréchal, a conservative French politician and member of the European Parliament, also voiced her discontent. She cautioned foreign spectators, stating that this divisive exhibition did not reflect the views of the French people.
