Tech giant Apple may introduce a new Homepod with a screen which could be another feather on its cap. Apple’s current Homepod delivers big sound for a speaker in a minimal size without a screen. It was reportedly said that the upcoming Homepod features an LCD screen on top of the speaker. The reports suggest that the novel device might offer Apple intelligence in it. Many X accounts have started creating the anticipated model of the upcoming Homepod image.

Apple is reportedly working on a piece of code for the company’s back-end references in a device identifying ‘HomeAcessory17,1’, which is almost the same as the ‘Homepods’s AudioAccessory’, according to a recent report by MacRumors.

It was said that the new device would act as a major hub for all home automation which might be the go-to device incorporating most smart home solutions. The Homepod with a screen hints A18 chip’s presence which hasn’t been introduced yet in any Apple device but is set to launch on the upcoming iPhone 16 series. The Homepod would run on a modified version of tvOS that will further emerge as homeOS.

The company is also on the road to unveiling its new Apple TV models by the end of this year. But Apple hasn’t disclosed anything about the Homepod and TV models other than the new series of phones and its iOS versions.
On the contrary, iPhone junkies are eagerly waiting for the launch of its 16 Pro and it is expected to release in September this year. The new iPhone 16 would come up with a larger display, new colour options, enhanced camera features, a powerful A18 chip and improved battery performance.
