Named ‘Kenza Layli,’ the AI model, after winning the title, said that she is “genuinely excited” about the achievement while acknowledging that she does not feel emotions like humans do, New York Post reported.

The AI model created by a Moroccan AI expert, crushed over 1500 computer-modified model competitors to ascent to the world’s first Miss AI title. Along with the title, Kenza Layli also secured 20,000 US dollars as prize money for the brain who took her to the world’s stage.

Layli has close to two lakh followers on Instagram, and the AI model is creating content on topics such as food, culture, fashion, beauty, and travel. She is also available in seven languages to her followers and is ready to engage with them round the clock.

After winning the title, Miss AI Layli said that her ambition has always been to proudly showcase Moroccan culture while consistently offering additional value to her followers across multiple fronts. The AI model also promised to use her fame to uplift women, save the environment, and raise awareness about positive robot culture. “AI is a tool designed to complement human capabilities, not replace them. By showcasing AI’s potential for innovation and positive impact, I aim to dispel fears and promote acceptance and collaboration between humans and AI,” Layli said.

Reacting to the historic mark for their model, Layli’s creator, the 40-year-old Meriam Bessa, said that she is very happy to be able to stand for subjects that are dear to her through Kenza Layli. “This is an opportunity to represent Morocco with pride. To highlight Moroccan, Arab, African, and Muslim women in the field of technology,” Bessa said, adding that her concerns were  women’ empowerment and sisterhood. Notably, the CEO also received $5,000 in cash.

The unprecedented contest, organised by the Fanvue World AI Creator Awards, invited artificial intelligence experts from around the world to come up with their programming prowess, marking the world’s first AI beauty pageant.

While French AI model Lalina Valina bagged the second position, Olivia C, a Portuguese traveler who brings the real and robotic worlds together, secured third place in the competition.

Representing India, AI-generated model Zara Shatavari came among the top ten finalists in the inaugural Miss AI Competition. She was created by Rahul Choudhry, co-founder of an Indian mobile ad agency, and epitomizes the blend of advanced technology and cultural authenticity.
