Google Pixel 8 Series Goes On Sale In India (Image: Google)

The much-awaited Google Pixel 8 series, comprising of Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro, is now available on Flipkart. The latest Pixel series was launched during the Made by Google 2023 event, held in New York, on October 4. Google also introduced the Pixel Watch 2 and Pixel Buds Pro during the event. It was one of the biggest Android launches of 2023.

The new Pixel series smartphones are equipped with different important features, including secure face authentication, seven years of software support and a built-in thermometer. The Pixel 8, with a 6.2-inch Actua display and a 120Hz refresh rate, is available in two storage options: 128 GB and 256 GB. It comes with a price tag of ₹75,999 for the 128GB storage variant and ₹82,999 for the 256GB storage model. Three colour options, including Rose, Hazel, and Obsidian, are available for the shoppers. The Pixel 8 packs 8GB of RAM and is powered by Google”s Tensor G3 chipset. It has a 4,575 mAh battery that supports 27W fast wired charging. The Pixel 8 features a 50-megapixel primary camera, and a 12-megapixel camera. It also features a 11-megapixel selfie camera.

On the other hand, the premium Google Pixel 8 Pro is launched at a price of Rs 1,06,999 in the country. This device, with 6.7-inch OLED display and 120Hz refresh rate, features 12GB RAM. It is also equipped with Google Tensor G3 processor. The storage options of Pixel 8 Pro range from 128GB up to 1TB. Coming to the camera department, it has a triple rear camera setup, with a 50-megapixel main sensor and two 48-megapixel sensors. The Pixel 8 Pro features a 10.5-megapixel selfie camera. Apart from the above-mentioned price, Flipkart is also offering a massive ₹8,000 discount for the Pixel 8. This discount will be available with the use of ICICI bank, Kotak bank, and Axis bank cards.
