On Wednesday, the Tech billionaire Elon Musk sparked division online after confirming that the X users’ “likes” will be made private to other accounts to protect their privacy. The social media platform rolled out a feature called ‘private likes’, which aims to change how users interact with posts. Following the announcement Musk posted on X about the rapid hike in likes after it was made private.

As per the graph, users liked more posts on X. The social media platform observed a hike in the rate of likes. The exponential increase peaked at around 6 PM GMT. While the graph also displays a dip in the next hour, Musk sounds contented with the move. The graph, posted by Musk on his account indicates how this feature serves its notion.

After spending a day on this, Musk discovered that the feature is helping the cause galore.
