Samsung Electronics is all set to launch the Galaxy Z Flip 5 Retro on the global market soon. This limited edition model, inspired by the SGH-E700 (Samsung E700) unveiled in 2003, will be available from November 1 in various countries, including Korea, the UK, Germany, Spain, and Australia. Samsung announced the release of the Galaxy Z Flip 5 Retro on October 30.

With the new device, the South Korean manufacturer is planning to showcase its history of innovation, spanning from its founding to the present day. The Galaxy Z Flip 5 Retro is equipped with several significant features. Samsung claims that the device, which comes in a combination of indigo blue and silver colours, has a UX design reinterpretation of 2000s pixel graphics and an exclusive animation on the Flex Window. Customers will also receive three Flipsuit cards with the package, featuring logos from various eras of Samsung’s history. The SGH-E700, which featured a built-in antenna, was regarded as a significant product from Samsung. This popular device also played a vital role in Samsung”s growth in the smartphone industry.

Samsung has not yet revealed whether the Galaxy Z Flip 5 Retro will be available in India or other countries. The company has also not announced the pricing details of the limited-edition smartphone. Samsung introduced the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 on July 26. Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, the device has a tall 6.7” 120Hz Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with an external 3.4” cover display. It comes with a price tag of Rs. 99,999 for the 256GB storage version, while the 512GB storage model is available for Rs 1,09,999.
