Xiaomi Set To Launch New Tablet; Checkout Expected Features (Image: X/@That_Kartikey)

Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi is reportedly planning to hold a launch event in China this month to announce the Xiaomi Ultra devices. Gizmochina recently reported that the event is also expected to witness the arrival of a new Xiaomi tablet. Meanwhile, the Xiaomi 14 series is all set to make a global launch on February 25.

There were reports earlier claiming that the upcoming Xiaomi Android tab would be the Pad 7 Pro or the 6S Pro. Gizmochina, citing an image reportedly found on Xiaomi’s global website, indicated that the latest tablet may be called the Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro. The tablet will be the successor to the Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro, which was unveiled in India in April 2023.

As per the report, the Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro is likely to have a design language similar to the existing Pad 6 products. The Xiaomi Tab is expected to have a 12.4-inch LCD display along with a 144Hz refresh rate. Notably, the Xiaomi Pad 6s Pro is likely to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset.

Xiaomi has not yet disclosed the key specifications and price of the upcoming tablet. However, report suggest that the device is likely to support 120W fast charging. The Android tab is expected to inherit many of its specs from the existing Pad 6 Pro. According to Gizmochina, the Xiaomi Pad 6s Pro may include a 50-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual-camera system along with a 20-megapixel front camera. The device, which may arrive on the market on February 22, is also expected to feature a 10,000mAh battery and a quad-speaker setup.
