New Delhi: Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi, along with husband Robert Vadra son Raihan Vadra cast their vote for the ongoing Delhi Assembly Elections on Wednesday. They have arrived at a polling station in Lodhi Estate and exercised their franchise.
After voting, Priyanka Gandhi spoke to the media and requested Delhiites to participate in the democratic process. “It is my appeal to come out of your houses and cast your votes. Our Constitution has given us the most important right, so we should make the best us,” Congress leader said.

Continuing further, Gandhi said that she is aware that people of Delhi are fed up and the situation of water, air and roads are not at all good. “There are several issues, and if we want to resolve them, we must come out and vote,” she said.
Taking to X, Congress MP urged the voters to use their voting right after thinking well. “Today is the day to use the power given to you by the Constitution and decide your future for the next five years. Your one vote will make you and your Delhi stronger. Use your right after thinking well and definitely cast your vote,” she said in a post on X.

Priyanka Gandhi was an active participant in the election campaigns in the national capital as the resurgent Congress is hoping for a strong comeback this time.

Voting for the 70 assembly seats is progressing in the national capital. A fierce contest between AAP, Congress and BJP is taking place. In the 2020 Assembly polls, AAP secured a massive victory, winning 62 out of 70 seats, while BJP won 8 seats. However, the Congress failed to secure any seats in the election.
