Hyderabad, Telangana: The newly-constructed Cherlapally Railway Station in Hyderabad, lauded for its ‘world-class’ infrastructure and airport-like terminals, is now underwater following an evening of moderate rainfall.
This flooding, due to leaky roofing that some mock as a ‘water park,’ raises serious questions about the quality of its construction and accountability, especially given its approximate cost of Rs. 413 crore.
