"Fingers Are On Trigger": Houthis Warn 'Ready For Military Intervention' In US-Israel War On Iran

San’a, Yemen: Yemeni resistance group Houthis have vowed that they are set to make direct military intervention in the US-Israeli war on Iran, and has laid out conditions that could prompt their involvement in the ongoing conflict.

Since the US-Israel began attacks against Iran, the Houthis have remained silent, suggesting they would intervene at the right time. Brigadier General Yahya Saree, spokesperson of the Houthis military, has said that they will intervene in the conflict if any other alliance joins the US and Israel against Iran and its proxies in the region.

Our military operations only target Israeli and American forces, the spokesperson added. Houthis are one of Iran’s key proxies in West Asia, who has not joined the war started by the US and Israel against Iran yet. The group had earlier stated that it is studying the situation and will make their decision based on the challenges facing Iran.

Experts had suggested that if Iran is facing existential threat from the US-Israel attack, the group will intervene to fully engage in the conflict.

Like in the strait of Hormuz, Iran can threaten the enemies by using Houthis by targeting ships in the Red Sea. The Group has already created headache for the US by targeting its vessels causing significant damages for its support of Israel amid the ongoing genocidal offensive in Gaza.
