The Israeli Occupation Force (IOF) continued to attack Beirut, Lebanon’s capital, causing “massive destruction”. Lebanon’s Education Ministry suspends schools in Beirut until January.

Hezbollah fired rockets at targets in the heart of Israel, in Petah Tikva, Nahariya, and Haifa. As per IOF, hundreds of rockets, and projectiles were fired from Lebanon across Israel. Two military installation were hit, cars were set on fire, and building were heavily damaged.

As per media reports, Israel’s sophisticated air defence system did not intercept all the rockets. People in one of Israel’s most populated area took cover in shelters and safe areas.

As per media report, discussions on a possible ceasefire deal with Lebanon continue, and until such a deal is struck, it’s expected that negotiations will persist under fire, and that the targeting of Tel Aviv in return for attacks on Beirut will refuse to cease.

IOF said it attacked 12 Hezbollah sites in Dahiyeh, including the group’s intelligence headquarters and coastal missile unit.

Reportedly, the Israeli military faced “fierce resistance” from Hezbollah, and the former were forced to retreat from a strategic hilltop position in al-Bayyaada area.

According to Wafa news agency, at least 15 people in the occupied West Bank was injured after Hezbollah’s barrage of rockets. It said that it was not clear if the rocket had been fired from Lebanon or whether it was an interceptor missile launched by Israeli forces.

the Islamic Resistance of Iraq also launched two drone attack on targets in southern Israel. The group said it launched the attack in solidarity with Palestine and Lebanon.
