Now, Imran Masood has clarified that he does not intend to compare the tactics to fight against occupation, but their rights to resist the occupiers against their enemies. He further said that he is not in support of attacking Jews, but defending Palestine is the right of the people there. He further added that Bhagat Singh, Mahatama Gandhi, and Ambedkar can not be compared with anybody, but the struggles are comparable which they fought for.

The Congress MP also said that it’s not muslim appeasement as he has criticised Pakistan and its government for having double standards and wrong policies.

Notably, the US, Israel, and Western countries describe Hamas as a terrorist organisation; however, the UN and, in fact Indian government have not classified Hamas as a terrorist organisation. Hamas is known as a Palestinian resistance movement that is fighting for the freedom of the Palestinian land against the occupation forces of Israel.
