President Joe Biden offers $100 million for humanitarian assistance in Gaza and the West Bank. It was on his official page on X, US President announced $100 million monetary aid, and said that it “will support over 1 million displaced and conflict-affected Palestinians.”
Adding further Mr Biden said: “we will have mechanisms in place so this aid reaches those in need – not Hamas or terrorist groups.”

Mr Biden landed on Israel”s Tel Aviv on Wednesday, making one of the complicated diplomatic mission during his presidency. He was welcomed by Israeli Prime Minster Benjamin Netanyahu in the airport.
During the joint meeting, Mr Biden pledges solidarity with people of Israel and said that “They’re — committed evils that — and atrocities that make ISIS look somewhat more rational.”
After the deadly explosion at Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital in Gaza City on Tuesday evening, the White House reported that during the visit to Tel Aviv Mr Biden will raise some “tough questions” in his meetings with Israeli leaders.
Mr Biden, then told Israeli Prime Minister: “I was deeply saddened and outraged by the explosion at the hospital in Gaza yesterday. And based on what I’ve seen, it appears as though it was done by the other team, not — not you.”
Initially, Biden’s trip planned a summit with leaders like Jordan’s King Abdullah, Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El-Sissi and Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas at Amman, Jordan after Tel Aviv and discuss about humanitarian assistance for Gaza. But distraught over the hospital attack, Arab leaders cancelled the meeting.
On a rapid visit, Biden traveled to Israel and extended US support to the Jewish state in the ongoing Israel-Hamas war. On October 7, the militant group, Hamas made a surprise attack on Israel killing over 1,400 Israeli citizens. In response, Israel entered war. As war enters 12th day, more than 4000 people died on both sides.
