Pentagon Claims It Would Take Six Months To Clear Iranian-Laid Mines In Strait of Hormuz
Washington DC, United States: The Pentagon has claimed that it could take at least six months to completely clear the Strait of Hormuz of Iranian-laid mines. The assessment comes as the Iranian closure of the key waterway continues in the region.
Iran shut down the Strait of Hormuz again after the US continued its naval blockade of Iranian ports despite the ceasefire deal. The situation has kept oil prices high.
