UN General Secretary Expressed Deep Concern Over Israeli Bombing Of Headquarters Of Qatar Reconstruction Committee In Gaza

On Monday the United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has expressed his deep concerns over bombing of the headquarters of Qatar Committee for the reconstruction of Gaza.

Mr. Guterres also expressed is concerns over the relentless shelling of the civilian infrastructure in Gaza, and stressed on the importance of the protecting and respecting all civilians and civilian objects at all time.

Israel has targeted several international organisations in Gaza Strip including the United Nations schools and hospitals and schools which was run by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Refugees. The occupation force has bombed Headquarters of the Qatar Committee for the Reconstruction of Gaza.

Foreign Ministry of Qatar has issued a statement denouncing the bombing and said that the attack was a “clear violation of international law and an extension of Israel’s approach to targeting civilians and civilian infrastructure, which also included hospitals, schools, population centres and shelters for displaced persons”.

Other Arab nations along with Gulf Cooperation Council and Organization of Islamic Cooperation has condemned the attack.
