55 Chinese Sailors Believed To Be Dead After The Nuclear Submarine Caught In “Trap”

China faces a tragic submarine accident in the Yellow sea. At least fifty five Chinese sailors is claimed to be dead. The accident was due to the failure in the submarine”s oxygen systems which lead to the “catastrophic failure” and the soldiers died of “asphyxia” or  poisoning, says a confidential UK report.

The incident is believed to be happened at around 08:00 local time. There were “22 officers, 7 officer cadets, 9 petty officers and 17 sailors”. Colonel Xue Yong-Peng, who was the captain of Chinese PLA Navy Submarine “093-417” was also among the ones who lost their life.

The Chinese Type 093 submarines had been on service for the last 15 years. The alleged nuclear submarine is said to be caught under the trap which was actually meant for US and UK, as it was claimed. It is believed that the submarine hit a “chain and anchor obstacle” that the country used to get “ensnare” the sub-surface vessels of United States, United Kingdom and their allies.

As per media, the UK report also read, “intelligence reports that on August 21 there was an on-board accident whilst carrying out a mission in the Yellow Sea”.

According to one naval expert, “If they were trapped on the net system and the submarine”s batteries were running flat, (which is plausible), then eventually the air purifiers and air treatment systems could have failed”, they told to Mail Online.

However, China has officially denied the happening of the incident and refused to seek international help.

The Type 093 is a nuclear-powered submarines which was built by the People”s Republic of China for the  People”s Liberation Army Navy
